The Birthworx Story

Bronwyn is the founder of Birthworx, a leading provider of Melbourne antenatal and birth workshops and post-birth workshops.

Bronwyn, or Bronny to everybody who knows her, is highly experienced in all areas of midwifery and antenatal care.

She has been in the midwifery industry for more than a decade. This includes being a registered midwife for 11 years and performing antenatal education for 7 years. For more than 4 years, Bronny has been running comprehensive antenatal education workshops and post-birth classes in Melbourne through Birthworx. She has successfully helped more than 1500 couples in the lead-up to the birthing, the labour journey and life post-birth.

With leading qualifications and a tertiary hospital background, you can feel confident you are receiving the most up-to-date information and midwifery care available.

Bronny and her team members are passionate about empowering women towards a positive labour and birth experience – as well as providing expectant parents with evidence-based information to prepare them for bringing their baby home.

Bronny brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, a warm presence and a fun personality to her classes. Bronny is passionate in supporting women and couples to feel confident, informed, and empowered throughout their birth journey.

Annabel Porter -Post-Birth Educator

  • Currently working at a tertiary-level Melbourne-based hospital as a Registered Midwife
  • Registered Nurse
  • Maternal Child Health Nurse
  • Sleep and Settling consultant

Originally from Country Victoria, Annabel recently welcomed her first child, little Isaac, and brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work with new parents. 

Ashlee Willoughby - Post-Birth Educator

  • Registered Midwife
  • Clinical Midwifery Specialist
  • Clinical Support Midwife - educating graduate and student midwives in a tertiary-level hospital in Melbourne.

Ash has extensive clinical experience and a passion for education. Ash is dedicated to empowering families with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the post-birth period.
